PARKING SERVICES
The parking services function of P&T implements the university’s parking plan and manages vehicle registration, permit issuance, lot enforcement, fine collection, citation appeal, lot scheduling for special events, and guest parking permit issuance.

Authority
In accordance with University System of Georgia Board of
Regents Policy, P&T has been delegated the authority and responsibility for
the administration of parking policies and procedures designed to promote a
safe and efficient parking system, including, but not limited to:
-establishing parking lot/space designations;establishing parking permit types;establishing parking permit fees and rates;
-establishing fines for parking violations;
-managing user parking accounts;
-issuing permits;
-issuing citations;
-immobilizing (booting) and/or impounding
(towing) vehicles for various unsafe, illegal parking practices or habitual
violations;
-and developing a fair and equitable collections
process utilizing student account, employee payroll, and/or user permit
registration functions to ensure debt resolution.
