HIST 1131 World Civilization & Soc I

A survey of the history of the world from the beginnings down to the eighteenth century. HIST 1131 and 1132 need not be taken in numerical order but cannot be taken concurrently.

Effective Fall 2024, this course will be replaced by HIST 1111 World Civilization and Society I. HIST 1111 will automatically fulfill any requirement that previously required HIST 1131. Students may not earn credit for both HIST 1111 and HIST 1131.
