MSCI 1002 Introduction to Leadership

Corequisite: MSCI 1002L. Overview of leadership fundamentals such as setting direction, problem solving, presenting briefs, providing feedback, using effective writing skills, and listening. Cadets explore dimensions of leadership values, attributes, skills, and actions in the context of practical, hands-on, and interactive exercises. Cadre role models and the building of stronger relationships among the Cadets through common experience and practical interaction are critical aspects of this class. Optional participation in a one hour session of physical fitness. Participation in weekend exercise is optional, but highly encouraged.
