Satisfactorily complete the following courses:

| HIST 1132 | World Civilization & Soc II | 3 |
| HIST 2111 | The United States to 1877 | 3 |
| or | |
| HIST 2112 | The United States Since 1877 | 3 |
| HIST 3001 | Historical Research & Writing | 3 |
| Two other HIST courses at the 3000-4000 level | 6 |
Additional Minor Requirements
- Satisfactorily complete all minor requirements listed in the academic policies section of this catalog.
- Earn a grade of C or higher in all minor courses.
- Courses in the minor may not be used to satisfy other major or minor requirements.
